Day 01: Arrival in Almaty and Hotel Check In
Arrive at Almaty where, after clearing customs and collecting baggage, you will be met by your English speaking guide in the arrival hall and escorted to your waiting vehicle; enjoy chocolates, refreshing napkins and complimentary Wi Fi on board while being transferred to your hotel for check in and time to settle in before dinner on your own. Overnight stay in Almaty.
Day 02: Almarasan and Shymbulak Visit
After breakfast at the hotel you will visit the Almarasan Gorge area (note access to some parts may be restricted), then enjoy lunch on your own before proceeding to the world class Shymbulak Ski Resort via the three tier gondola to ascend toward 3200 meters where you can enjoy mountain views, cafes, observation decks and optional adventure activities such as zip lining, paragliding or horse riding; return to the city area for dinner on your own and hotel drop off. Overnight stay in Almaty.
Day 03: Kolsai Lakes and Charyn Canyon Excursion
After breakfast and hotel check out you will proceed to Kolsai National Park — the scenic “Pearl of the Tien Shan” — to visit the beautiful mountain lakes surrounded by steep slopes, enjoy lunch on your own at a resort or local café, then continue to the spectacular Charyn Canyon to explore the Valley of Castles and other scenic gorges with a walking option of about 1.5 hours along the canyon and river before checking in to your hotel in the region for dinner on your own. Overnight stay in Charyn region.
Day 04: Kaindy Lake and Relaxation
Following breakfast you will visit Kaindy Lake to view the eerie submerged forest formed after a historic landslide and enjoy the unique landscape, have lunch on your own at a local café, then return to your hotel for relaxation and free time with dinner on your own. Overnight stay in Charyn region.
Day 05: Almaty City Tour Panfilov Park and Kok Tobe
After breakfast and hotel check out you will return to Almaty for a city tour visiting major points of interest including First President Park, Republic Square, the State Opera and Ballet Theatre, museums at the Academy of Sciences, Abay Square, Kazakhstan Hotel and Palace of the Republic, followed by Panfilov Park and the Zenkov Cathedral with its notable architecture and war memorial, enjoy lunch on your own and then take the cable car to Kok Tobe Hill for panoramic city views and attractions before dinner on your own and hotel drop. Overnight stay in Almaty.
Day 06: Departure from Almaty
Enjoy a packed breakfast, complete hotel check out and be transferred by our driver to Almaty airport for your flight home or onward destination.
