Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur – Transfer to Mandawa

Arrive in Jaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Mandawa, approximately 170 to 190 km and around 3.5 to 4 hours by road, the town most people picture when they think of Shekhawati’s painted havelis. Check in at your hotel, then walk through Mandawa’s lanes with a local guide, starting at Mandawa Fort itself, its entrance carved with real detail, before moving through Chokhani Haveli, Ladia Haveli, and Binsidhar Newatia Haveli, whose frescoes cover an unusually varied range of subjects for the region, steam trains, telephones, hunting scenes, animals, alongside the more familiar mythological and courtly imagery. The whole town functions as an open-air gallery, worth simply wandering between stops rather than rushing a fixed list. Overnight stay in Mandawa.

Day 2: Mukundgarh & Dundlod Excursion

A full day out to two nearby Shekhawati towns rarely covered on a standard circuit. Visit Mukundgarh, about 17 to 25 km from Mandawa, for its own fort and havelis and a look at traditional stepwell architecture. Continue to Dundlod, a similar distance away, for its far larger fort, a genuine fusion of Mughal and Rajput design, with stained glass windows, an old library and a collection of period antiques, alongside the Goenka Haveli and Goenka cenotaph nearby. Return to Mandawa for the evening. Overnight stay in Mandawa.

Day 3: Mandawa – Jaipur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jaipur, approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by road, for onward departure.
