Day 1: Trivandrum – Transfer to Ashtamudi & Lakeside Arrival

Meet our representative at Trivandrum International Airport or railway station and transfer to the Ashtamudi Lake region near Kollam, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by road up the coast. This is an easy, flat drive with no hills. Ashtamudi, “eight-branched,” is the second-largest lake in Kerala and the gateway to the backwaters, wider, more open and far less trafficked than Alleppey. Day 2: Ashtamudi – Lake Cruise, Canals & Coastal Kollam

A full day across the lake and its edges. Morning cruise across the open expanse of Ashtamudi and into the quieter connected canals, this lake carries both the calm day-cruise experience and, for those who want it, one of the few less-crowded stretches where an overnight-style houseboat still makes sense. Day 3: Ashtamudi – Departure to Trivandrum
