Day 1: Arrival in Ranchi – Local Sightseeing

Arrive in Ranchi and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to your hotel and check in. After freshening up, visit Pahari Mandir on its rock outcrop above the city, followed by Ranchi Lake and Rock Garden. In the afternoon, drive to Kanke Dam and Tagore Hill. End the day with a walk through the city centre. Overnight stay in Ranchi.

Day 2: Ranchi Eastern Waterfall Circuit

After breakfast, drive east to Hundru Falls and Jonha Falls, subject to water flow and access, with a stop at the Getalsud Dam backwaters. Return to Ranchi by evening for a visit to the Jagannath Temple at Dhurwa. Overnight stay in Ranchi.

Day 3: Ranchi Southern Circuit – Transfer to Netarhat

Start early and drive south to Dassam Falls and Panchghagh Falls, subject to water flow and access, with a stop at the Tribal Research Institute Museum on the return. Come back to Ranchi for lunch, check out, and drive to Netarhat through Kuru and Lohardaga, climbing steadily through forest for the final stretch. Check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Netarhat.

Day 4: Netarhat Sightseeing

Start early with sunrise at Netarhat Sunrise Point, followed by breakfast at the hotel. Visit Upper Ghaghri Falls and walk down to Lower Ghaghri Falls through the forest path. Continue to the Netarhat Residential School campus and Koel View Point. In the afternoon, drive to Sadni Falls or the Pine Forest stretch along the plateau road, depending on time and road condition. Return to Magnolia Point for sunset. Overnight stay in Netarhat.

Day 5: Netarhat – Betla National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive to Betla National Park, stopping en route at Lodh Falls, the tallest waterfall in Jharkhand, subject to water flow and access. Continue to Betla and check in at your resort or forest lodge. In the afternoon, join a jeep safari inside the park, home to elephant, gaur, sambar, spotted deer, and a resident tiger population, subject to Forest Department timings and permits. Overnight stay in Betla.

Day 6: Betla National Park – Transfer to Patratu Valley

Start with an early morning jeep safari, the better window for wildlife movement. Return for breakfast, then visit the Betla Fort ruins and the Palamu Forts on the Auranga River. Check out and drive to Patratu Valley, descending the ghat road through its hairpin bends with stops at the valley viewpoints. Check in at your resort by the lake. Overnight stay in Patratu.

Day 7: Patratu Valley at Leisure

Start with an early morning boat ride on Patratu Lake, subject to water conditions. After breakfast, visit Patratu Dam, the Nalkari River stretch and the forest paths nearby, followed by the Sikidiri Hydel Project. Afternoon at leisure at the resort. End the day at the sunset point above the valley, watching the light change over the water and the hills. Overnight stay in Patratu.

Day 8: Patratu Valley – Ranchi Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive to Ranchi, stopping at the upper ghat viewpoints on the way out. Visit Rock Garden or the city market if your departure time allows, before your drop at the airport or railway station.
