Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai / Pune – Transfer to Dapoli

Arrive in Mumbai or Pune and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Dapoli, a coastal town in Ratnagiri district on the Konkan coast, known for its uncrowded beaches, hot springs and old temples. The drive takes most of the day, and the last stretch runs on narrow Konkan roads. After checking in at your hotel, visit Murud Beach in the late afternoon. End the day at Karde Beach for sunset and dinner at one of the beach-facing shacks. Overnight stay in Dapoli.

Day 2: Harnai, Suvarnadurg and Anjarle

After breakfast, drive to Anjarle Beach and climb to the Kadyavarcha Ganpati Temple on the cliff above it, which looks back across the creek and the coastline. Continue to Harnai, and if sea conditions allow, take the local boat across to Suvarnadurg Fort, a 17th-century sea fort built under Shivaji. Return for lunch. In the late afternoon, come back to Harnai for the fish auction on the shore, where the day’s catch is sold as the boats come in. Overnight stay in Dapoli.

Day 3: Ladghar, Unhavare and Panhalekaji

After breakfast, visit Ladghar Beach and the Tamas Teertha rocks, named for the red tint of the stone along that stretch. Continue inland to the Unhavare hot water springs, a set of natural sulphur springs in a village setting. In the afternoon, visit the Panhalekaji Caves, a group of around 29 rock-cut caves along the Kotjai river, with Buddhist, Shaiva and Nath period carvings across different centuries. Return to Dapoli and keep the evening free at your property or on the beach. Overnight stay in Dapoli.

Day 4: Dapoli – Mumbai / Pune Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Stop at Kelshi Beach and the Mahalaxmi Temple, or at the Durga Devi Temple in Dapoli town, depending on your route and departure time. Transfer back to Mumbai or Pune for your onward journey.
