Day 01: Habarana Arrival and Sigiriya

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in the morning where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and driver, then proceed by private transfer through scenic countryside to Habarana with an optional stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage if time permits; check in at your hotel and refresh before enjoying lunch in Habarana, then in the evening climb the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock to explore the ancient rock fortress, frescoes and gardens followed by a traditional Sri Lankan village experience with a scenic cart ride and cultural activities, and dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Habarana.

Day 02: Kandy and Dambulla Cave Temple

After breakfast at your hotel depart for a Habarana city tour and continue to the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple to view the impressive Buddha statues and cave paintings, visit a local Herbal and Spice Garden to learn about spices and Ayurvedic herbs, proceed to Kandy for lunch, attend the vibrant Kandy Cultural Show in the evening featuring traditional dance and music, enjoy dinner at your hotel and overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya and Tea Factory

Have breakfast at your Kandy hotel then visit a Gem Museum and the Temple of the Tooth Relic to witness daily rituals; proceed on a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya with a lunch stop en route, tour a tea factory and estate to learn about tea production and sample Ceylon tea, visit Seetha Amman Temple and relax at Gregory Lake before dinner and an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04: Yala via Ella Train Ride

After breakfast enjoy the scenic train journey from the Nuwara Eliya area to Ella passing tea plantations and hills, visit the Nine Arch Bridge and hike Mini Adam’s Peak for panoramic views, have lunch on the way then transfer to Yala, visit the Kataragama Murugan Temple in the evening, enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Yala.

Day 05: Unawatuna via Yala Safari

Depart early for a morning Yala Jeep Safari to explore Yala National Park and spot wildlife including elephants and leopards, return for breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Galle to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Galle Fort and its cobblestone streets, have lunch in Galle, enjoy beach time in the evening, dinner and overnight stay in Unawatuna.

Day 06: Bentota Beach and Coastal Tour

After breakfast check out and transfer to Bentota for a city and coastal tour, enjoy lunch in Bentota, spend the evening relaxing on Bentota Beach with swimming and beach activities, have dinner at your hotel and overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 07: Bentota Turtle Hatchery and Madu River

Following breakfast visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation, enjoy a scenic Madu River boat safari through mangroves, have lunch in Bentota, relax on the beach in the evening and enjoy dinner at an outside restaurant before overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 08: Colombo City and Gangaramaya Temple

After breakfast transfer from Bentota to Colombo for city sightseeing including Gangaramaya Temple and Seema Malakaya and a visit to Independence Square, enjoy lunch in Colombo, optionally visit Colombo Lotus Tower (entry fee USD 20 per person), relax at your Colombo hotel in the evening, dine at an outside restaurant and overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 09: Colombo Leisure and Shopping

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a day for shopping and leisure in Colombo at popular markets and malls, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, spend the afternoon relaxing or additional sightseeing such as revisiting the Lotus Tower if desired (entry fee applies), have dinner at an outside restaurant and overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 10: Colombo Departure to Airport

Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel, complete packing and check-out, transfer by private vehicle from Colombo to Katunayake International Airport for your departure and check-in for your flight; no overnight stay as this is the departure day.
