Day 01: Kandy Arrival and Elephant Orphanage

Assuming the flight arrives in the morning, you will be warmly welcomed at Katunayake International Airport by our representative and driver and proceed directly to Kandy, enjoying scenic landscapes and cultural vistas along the route; upon arrival visit the Elephant Orphanage to observe rescued elephants and learn about conservation, then continue to a Herbal and Spice Garden to discover Sri Lanka’s traditional herbs and spices, enjoy lunch in Kandy at a local restaurant, check in at the hotel to relax and freshen up, later take a guided city tour of Kandy including a stroll around Kandy Lake and the local markets, attend the Kandy Cultural Show starting at 5 PM, and conclude the day with dinner at your hotel. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 02: Kandy Temples and Gem Museum

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Gem Museum to learn about Sri Lanka’s gemstone heritage and then proceed to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the island’s most sacred Buddhist shrine, to witness daily rituals and explore its cultural significance; enjoy lunch in Kandy before departing for Bentota, travel comfortably through scenic coastal countryside to arrive at your beachside hotel, then in the evening visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation and see baby turtles up close, and finish the day relaxing on Bentota Beach followed by dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 03: Colombo and Madu River Safari

Enjoy breakfast at your Bentota hotel and proceed to a scenic Madu River boat safari to explore mangroves and spot local wildlife, then continue by private transfer to Colombo where you will embark on city sightseeing including visits to Gangaramaya Temple and Seema Malakaya and a stroll around Independence Square, enjoy lunch at a popular Colombo restaurant, spend the evening shopping at popular spots and visit the Colombo Lotus Tower for panoramic city views (Lotus Tower entry fee USD 20 per person noted), then return to your hotel for dinner and relaxation. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 04: Colombo Departure and Airport Transfer

Begin with a leisurely breakfast at your Colombo hotel, spend any remaining time at leisure and ensure belongings are packed, then proceed by private transfer from Colombo to Katunayake International Airport for check-in and departure, concluding your Sri Lanka journey. Overnight stay not applicable.
