Day 1: Arrival, welcome by a representative at Airport

Colombo is a fascinating city, not only for its comfortable blend of East and West but also for its balanced mixture of the past and the present. It is the Commercial Capital of the country and is only 35 km south of the country’s only International Airport. Many attractions, opportunities for shopping, availability of tasting a multitude of cuisine, etc makes it an interesting city Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2: Colombo – Pinnawala – Kandy

After breakfast, leave for Kandy- “The Hill Capital” En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. Lunch en-route Evening visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha –By far the most important place of worship for devotees all over the world. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Nuwara Eliya with the city tour including a visit to Gregory Lake Nuwara Eliya. nestled in a wooded basin at the foot of Mount Pidurutalagala Sri Lanka’s highest peak, this region at 6,183ft above sea level Has a cool, crisp climate unknown elsewhere in Sri Lanka. A serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of Colombo, the town seems like a piece of the English Lake District. Unusual plants, birds and animals thrive here besides natural features like waterfalls and caves. Tea, the glistening green leaves of this lovely shrub, along with neat rows of green, cloak ridges and valleys providing a lasting impression of Sri Lanka’s Hill Country. Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Yala

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Yala. Yala Is mainly famous for the wildlife of Sri Lanka and The Yala National park is Of all the National Parks in Sri Lanka, Yala National Park gives the best opportunity to witness Sri Lanka’s broad variety of wildlife: colorfully painted stork in troops are seen perched at the shores of the lagoon where the crocodiles too have chosen to doze off; lovely fan-tailed peacocks in their resplendent blues and greens parade about amidst the woods where monkeys hang, leap and chatter; in the bush jungle are the Elephants; crossing the tracks and wandering off into the thorny scrub jungle is the star attraction of the park: the leopard. Lunch en-route After lunch set out for an evening jeep safari in Yala national park. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5: Yala – Kalutara

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bentota. Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota Lagoon. Coral-rich dive sites include Canoe Rock. On Bentota River, centuries-old Galapota Temple has a large Buddha statue. Southeast is Lunuganga, the estate and gardens of architect Geoffrey Bawa. Northeast is his brother Bevis’s Brief Garden. Lunch en-route. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6: Kalutara – Kosgoda – Kalutara

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Kosgoda and visit Turtle hatchery. The Turtle Care Centre at Kosgoda beach is one of 18 turtle hatcheries along the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The center is located in the South Western coastal village of Kosgoda and was established in 1981. It is also very popular as all five species of turtles that visit Sri Lanka nest in Kosgoda. This is not so with many of the other hatcheries around the island whose beaches host only some of the species. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 7: Kalutara – Colombo

After breakfast transfer to Colombo Undertake a City Tour of Colombo including a Buddhist Temple, Pettah, Dutch, a Hindu Temple, Mosque, Town Hall, BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), Cinnamon Gardens – Prime residential area, the Nelum Pokuna – the newly opened Performing Arts Theatre, the newly opened Nelum Kuluna – South Asia’s highest Tower etc. Lunch at an outside restaurant. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 8: Tour Ends – Colombo Airport Drop

After breakfast, pick up from Colombo Hotel/ Resort & transfer to Colombo Airport. En route a few sightseeing. Tour ends with happy memories & experiences.
