Day 01: Arrival Kandy Munneswaram Temple and Pinnawala

Meet and greet on arrival at Colombo International Airport by your chauffeur-guide and transfer towards Chilaw to visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple and Manavari Temple, Ramayana sites linked to King Ravana and Lord Rama respectively; en route stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and a Spice Garden to experience Sri Lanka’s herbs and spices, then continue to Kandy for a visit to the Gem Gallery Museum and enjoy a traditional cultural dance show in the evening. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 02: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya Temple of the Tooth and Tea Plantation

Breakfast at the hotel followed by an optional visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist shrines; proceed to Nuwara Eliya with an en route visit to Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple and a tea plantation and tea factory to witness Ceylon tea production and tasting. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 03: Kataragama Seetha Amman and Ravana Falls

After breakfast depart for Ella area to visit the Seetha Amman Temple and Divurumpola Temple associated with the Ramayana, stop at the beautiful Ravana Falls with an optional short climb to Ravana Cave, then continue to Kataragama for overnight stay. Overnight stay in Kataragama.

Day 04: Colombo Kataragama Temple and Yala Safari

Breakfast at the hotel and visit the sacred multi-religious Kataragama Temple linked to Skanda worship and Ramayana traditions; wildlife enthusiasts may opt for a Jeep Safari at Yala National Park, then proceed to Colombo for evening free for shopping and leisure in the city. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 05: Departure Colombo Airport Transfer

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Colombo International Airport for your departure, concluding the spiritually enriching Sri Lanka Ramayana Trail journey.
