Day 01: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

Arrival at Leh airport to be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest for acclimatization where welcome tea and coffee will be served by the hotel; spend the day resting and adjusting to the altitude. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Sindhu Darshan and Hemis Gompa

After breakfast drive to Sindhu Darshan on the bank of the historic Indus River about 7 km from Leh, then proceed to visit Shey Palace, the ancient summer retreat of the royal family of Ladakh. Continue to Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of the Drukpa Kagyu Order built in 1630, noted for its wall paintings, thangkas and historic objects, then visit Thiksey Monastery on the hill with stupas, statues and large pillars depicting Buddha’s teachings. Later visit Rancho School (Druk White Lotus School), Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace, Leh Palace overlooking the town and the local market; return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Pangong Lake via Changla Pass

After an early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (around 14,500 ft) via Changla Pass (approx 17,350 ft), enjoying the high-altitude drive and mountain vistas. Visit Pangong Lake, Asia’s largest high-altitude salt-water lake shared by India and China, enjoy the turquoise panoramas and sunset on the lake banks, then drive back to Leh by the same route. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh Khardung La Visit

After breakfast drive to Khardung La pass, the world’s highest motorable road at around 18,390 feet, admire spectacular snow-capped mountain views and spend time at the pass before returning to Leh; later the day is free to explore the local market at your leisure. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 05: Leh Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your flight back to your onward destination. Journey ends with sweet memories of Ladakh.
