Day 1: Arrival in Thekkady & Check-in at KTDC Aranya Nivas
Arrive in Thekkady and transfer to KTDC Aranya Nivas, a heritage jungle lodge located inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Check-in and unwind in the serene natural surroundings. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided Nature Walk inside the wildlife sanctuary, exploring the diverse flora and fauna of Thekkady. Return to the resort and relax. Overnight stay at KTDC Aranya Nivas.
Day 2: Periyar Wildlife Safari & Sightseeing
Early morning, embark on a boat safari in Periyar Lake, where you can spot elephants, bison, sambar deer, and a variety of bird species along the shores. After breakfast, visit the Spice Plantation, where you can learn about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, and other spices. Enjoy an optional Bamboo Rafting Adventure inside the Periyar Reserve for an immersive jungle experience. Later, return to KTDC Aranya Nivas for a leisurely evening. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 3: Departure from Thekkady
After breakfast, explore the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre, where you can witness a live demonstration of Kalaripayattu, Kerala’s traditional martial arts. If time permits, visit the Mangala Devi Temple, a historic site offering panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Later, check out from the resort and transfer to your onward destination, concluding your Thekkady adventure with cherished memories.

Credit Card Bookings
- In order to avoid credit card frauds, guests are requested to note the following:
- In case the booking is made using credit card, guests are requested to carry the following documents at the time of Check In.
- If the Credit card holder is the guest or one of the guests, then the credit card will have to be produced at the time of Check In.
- If the Credit Card holder is not one of the guests, then a copy of the credit card (both front and back), self-attested by the credit card holder should be produced at the time of Check In.
- In addition to this, it is also required to produce a letter, signed by the credit card holder, authorizing the use of the credit card for the booking of the room. The letter should mention the names of the guests, date of travel, property and room type.
- This letter, along with the self-attested copy of the credit card will have to be submitted at Check In desk.
- At the time of submitting the credit card copy, please ensure that the CVV number on it is blacked out. (CVV Number is a three-digit number at the reverse side of the credit card, at the end of the signature panel).
- In case the above documents are not produced by the guests, Hotel reserves the right to deny the reservation. In such case no refund (except for the taxes) will be given to the guest.
- In case of erroneous / inadequate / misleading information given while booking, Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking without any intimation.
- As per the Government of India's security regulations, it is mandatory for all guests to produce an identity proof (passport & VISA for foreigners) at the time of check-in. Please do ensure that you carry this with you.
