Day 1: Arrive Cochin & Drive to Munnar

Upon arrival at Cochin, you will be greeted by our representative at the Airport or Railway Station. You will then proceed towards the hill station of Munnar, known for its lush greenery, captivating hills, mountains, and extensive tea plantations. On the way, visit the beautiful Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Once you arrive in Munnar, check in to your hotel or resort and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Munnar.

Day 2: Munnar Local Sightseeing

Wake up to a beautiful morning in Munnar. After enjoying a healthy breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar’s significant landmarks and attractions. Visit Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, and enjoy boating. Explore the Munnar Tea Gardens, Tea Museum & Tea Factory, and optionally go for an elephant ride. Continue to the Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, and various photo shooting points. You can also shop for tea powder. Visit the Eravikulam National Park (entry tickets at own cost) to spot the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and other wildlife. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady by Road (4 Hrs) with Thekkady Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Thekkady, located near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel/resort and relax. Later, visit the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest home to a diverse variety of flora and fauna, including elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques, and Nilgiri langurs. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. After the boat ride, explore local spice plantations, go shopping, and optionally attend a Kathakali or Kalarippayattu show (if time permits, at own cost). Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Thekkady.

Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey by Road

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey, known as the ‘Venice of the East’ due to its extensive network of lakes, lagoons, and rivers. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Explore the natural beauty of Alappuzha, famous for its backwaters, boat races, beaches, marine products, and coir industry. Visit Vembanad Lake, Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, the Coir Weaving Industry (boat charges at own cost), and Alleppey Beach. In the evening, you can opt for an Ayurvedic massage and spa (at own cost). Overnight stay at the hotel in Alleppey.

Day 5: Proceed from Alleppey to Kovalam by Road

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kovalam. On the way, enjoy sightseeing in Trivandrum, including visits to Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, the Zoo, Napier Museum, and Sree Chithra Art Gallery and Zoological Gardens (all places are closed on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple). In the evening, arrive in Kovalam and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kovalam.

Day 6: Kovalam Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Kovalam. The village offers endless views of coconut trees and has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings along its 17 km coastline, forming the famous crescent of Kovalam beach. Visit the Thiruvallam Parasuraman Temple, Lighthouse Beach, Kovalam Beach, Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Hawah Beach, Vellayani Lake, Velli Tourist Village, and Samudra Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kovalam.

Day 7: Drop to Cochin Airport / Railway Station

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Cochin. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. The tour ends with happy memories.
