Day 02: Puri – Chilika Lake – Alarnath Temple – Puri
Start the day with an early morning darshan at Jagannath Temple (only Hindus are allowed inside the temple). Then, take an excursion to Chilika Lake and enjoy a boat cruise to spot the Wild Irrawaddy Dolphins and explore the Sea Mouth. On the return journey to Puri, visit Alarnath Temple. The evening is free for shopping at Puri or strolling around the beach market area. Overnight stay in Puri.
Day 03: Puri – Raghurajpur – Konark – Bhubaneswar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bhubaneswar. En route, visit Raghurajpur Artisans Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Craft Village, Ramachandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Konark Sun Temple. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 04: Bhubaneswar Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Nandankanan Zoological Park and Botanical Garden. After lunch, explore the temples of the city, including Parashurameshvara Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Rajarani Temple, Kedargouri Temple, and Lingaraj Temple (only Hindus are allowed inside the temple premises). Spiritual Exploration Waking up early to visit the Jagannath Temple was a highlight of the tour. Although only Hindus are allowed inside, the atmosphere was vibrant and deeply spiritual. The excursion to Chilika Lake was equally enchanting, where we enjoyed a delightful boat ride spotting the elusive Wild Irrawaddy Dolphins. The day ended with a visit to Alarnath Temple, further enriching our spiritual journey.
Cultural Immersion The third day was dedicated to cultural exploration. Visiting the Raghurajpur Artisans Village showcased the incredible craftsmanship of the locals, and the UNESCO World Heritage Konark Sun Temple left us in awe of its architectural brilliance. The journey through Chandrabhaga Beach added a touch of serenity before heading to Bhubaneswar.
City of Temples Bhubaneswar is truly a city of temples. The Nandankanan Zoological Park was a fun break from temple visits, and the botanical garden was beautifully maintained. The afternoon was spent exploring various temples like Mukteshwar and Lingaraj, each with its unique history and artistry.
