Day 1: Arrival in Jodhpur – Transfer to Jalore – Jalore Fort

Arrive in Jodhpur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Jalore, approximately 140 km and around 3 hours by road, known across India as the Granite City for the quality of stone quarried here. Check in at your hotel, then climb Jalore Fort, historically called Swarnagiri, the Golden Mountain, up a steep, serpentine path to ramparts built between the 8th and 10th centuries. Inside the complex, see the old Jain temples known for their calm, finely carved interiors, along with Topekhana and Malik Shah’s Mosque. In the evening, visit Sire Mandir on Kalashachal Hill, a short drive from town, for views over Jalore as the light fades. Overnight stay in Jalore.

Day 2: Sundha Mata Temple & Rural Village Experience

A morning excursion to Sundha Mata Temple, an roughly 900-year-old marble shrine to the goddess Chamunda perched at 1,225 metres on Sundha Hill, now reached by ropeway rather than the older climb, with views across the Aravalli ranges from the top. In the afternoon, walk through the surrounding countryside to meet local farming families and see rural Rajasthani life firsthand. Evening at leisure, with an optional visit to Dhundheshwar Temple in its forest setting. Overnight stay in Jalore.

Day 3: Jalore – Jodhpur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jodhpur, approximately 3 hours by road, for onward departure.
