Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur – Transfer to Kuchaman Fort

Arrive in Jaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Kuchaman, approximately 145 km by road on the Jaipur-Nagaur route. Check in at Kuchaman Fort, a hilltop stronghold turned heritage hotel perched 300 metres above the town on a sheer cliff. Take a guided walk through the fort itself, the mirrored Sheesh Mahal, the Durbar-e-Khas with its ceiling portraits of past rulers, and the original inlay work in semi-precious stone, glass and gold paint across its walls. See the fort’s own stepwell and the seventeen rainwater tanks built to sustain the settlement it once fully enclosed, and hear about its past as a mint where the rulers of Jodhpur once struck their own gold and silver coin. In the evening, watch the sunset from the ramparts over the town and its salt lake, with a folk dance or puppet performance in the inner courtyards. Overnight stay at Kuchaman Fort.

Day 2: Kuchaman City Havelis & Village Safari

A morning excursion through Kuchaman City’s old lanes, taking in its Shekhawati-style havelis and fresco paintings of flowers, motifs and Hindu mythology. In the afternoon, choose between a horse, camel or village safari into the surrounding countryside, with optional bird watching along the way. The evening is at leisure at the property. Overnight stay at Kuchaman Fort.

Day 3: Kuchaman – Jaipur Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jaipur, approximately 145 km by road, for onward departure.
