Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur – Transfer to Karauli – City Palace & Madan Mohan Temple

Arrive in Jaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Karauli, approximately 150 to 180 km by road, a former princely capital of the Yaduvanshi Rajputs founded in 1348. Check in at Bhanwar Vilas Palace, then visit the City Palace, originally laid by the city’s founder Raja Arjun Pal and largely rebuilt by Raja Gopal Singh in the 18th century, its walls built from the distinctive red, white and off-white stone quarried locally. See the 600-year-old stepwell nearby. In the evening, join the crowd for aarti at Madan Mohan Temple, just across from the palace, where an ancient Krishna idol brought from Amer generations ago is still worshipped daily, followed by a walk through the old city’s potters’ lanes. Overnight stay in Karauli.

Day 2: Kaila Devi Temple & Chambal River Safari

A morning excursion to Kaila Devi Temple, an 11th-century shrine on the banks of the Kalisil River in the Trikut hills, commonly counted among India’s Shakti Peethas and a significant pilgrimage site in its own right. In the afternoon, head out for a boat safari on the Chambal River to watch for crocodiles and river birdlife, or, for a shorter option, visit the smaller lake closer to the property that also draws crocodiles and migratory birds. Return to Bhanwar Vilas for the evening, with time to see the palace’s vintage car collection. Overnight stay in Karauli.

Day 3: Karauli – Jaipur Departure

An optional early yoga session on the palace terrace, with sunrise views over the town. After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jaipur, approximately 150 to 180 km by road, for onward departure.
