Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur – Transfer to Sariska

Arrive in Jaipur and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Sariska, approximately 110 to 120 km and around 2 to 2.5 hours by road, the only tiger reserve set in the Aravalli hills, with a genuinely different landscape of rocky ridges and dry deciduous forest compared to India’s flatter central reserves. Check in at your lodge, then head straight into an evening safari, watching for tigers, leopards, sambar, chital and the reserve’s rich birdlife against the Aravalli backdrop. Overnight stay in Sariska.

Day 2: Full Day Safari & Alwar Heritage

An early second safari into a different zone for a fresh perspective on the terrain. After breakfast, visit Kankwari Fort within the reserve, historically where Aurangzeb imprisoned his brother Dara Shikoh, before continuing to Bhangarh Fort, a short excursion known across India for its abandoned-ruins folklore, timed to be well clear of the site by sunset given the site’s official visiting hours. Return for a final evening safari drive. Overnight stay in Sariska.

Day 3: Sariska – Jaipur Departure

An optional early final safari for guests wanting one more chance at a sighting. After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Jaipur, approximately 2 to 2.5 hours by road, for onward departure.
