Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai / Surat – Transfer to Silvassa

Arrive in Mumbai or Surat and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Silvassa, the administrative centre of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, around 180 km from Mumbai, set on the Damanganga river in territory that remained under Portuguese administration until 1954. Travellers arriving by train usually reach via Vapi, roughly 18 km away. After checking in at your hotel, visit the Tribal Cultural Museum, which documents Warli and Dhodia material culture, and the Church of Our Lady of Piety, one of the older Portuguese-period buildings in the town. End the day at the Hirwa Van garden or the riverside promenade. Overnight stay in Silvassa.

Day 2: Dudhni, Vanganga and the Lake Circuit

After breakfast, drive to Dudhni, around 40 km away, on the backwaters of the Madhuban Dam, where boating, jet skiing and water scooters operate through the season. Spend the morning on the water. On the return, visit the Vanganga Lake and Garden with its Japanese-style island layout, and the Vasona Lion Safari enclosure if it is open, a small drive-through enclosure rather than a wildlife park. In the afternoon, visit the Deer Park at Khanvel or the Swaminarayan Temple. Return to Silvassa for the evening. Overnight stay in Silvassa.

Day 3: Silvassa – Mumbai / Surat Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit the Nakshatra Garden or the Tribal Museum if you missed it, or drive to Daman for the Moti Daman fort and the seafront, depending on your departure time. Transfer back to Mumbai or Surat for your onward journey.
