Darjeeling is always my favourite, especially I always prefer to stay near Darjeeling Mall and roam around it relishing food from Keventers (Kev’s) & Glenary’s. The walk beside the Mall road staring at Kanchenjungha in a cloudy evening always attracts me like anything. I love this article here, where you can find some good information on absolute offbeat destinations near and around Darjeeling. I truly recommend Ocean6 Holidays for their in detail understanding of my travel requirements.
