Day 01: Arrival in Kolakham and Neora Valley

Upon arrival at NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport you will be greeted and transferred to Kolakham via Kalimpong and Lava, enjoying a scenic hill drive of around 4.5 to 5.5 hours depending on road conditions; on arrival check in to a local homestay or eco-lodge near Neora Valley National Park and enjoy a warm lunch of simple hill‑style dishes, then spend the afternoon on a slow village walk through pine‑scented trails, cardamom patches and quiet viewpoints facing forested ridges, and finish the day with tea, misty mountain air and a peaceful sunset from your stay. Overnight stay in Kolakham.

Day 02: Kolakham Changey Falls and Lava Monastery

Start the day with breakfast and, if skies are clear, take early in‑village views of Kanchenjunga before driving to Changey Falls and taking a short walk down to the waterfall through forested surroundings; continue on to Lava to visit the Lava Monastery and explore the small local market where you can sample momos, thukpa or local tea, then return toward Kolakham for a relaxed afternoon nature walk along the Neora Valley forest edge listening for bird calls among mossy trees and absorbing village life, followed by rest, a warm dinner and a quiet mountain evening at your homestay. Day 03: Kolakham Departure to NJP Station

After breakfast check out from your homestay and begin your return transfer to NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport via Lava and Kalimpong, with possible brief stops for tea, local snacks or a last valley viewpoint depending on your departure time; the tour concludes with happy memories of your time in Kolakham.
