Day 01: Manali to Sarchu or Jispa Rohtang Pass Sissu

Starting from Manali, we drive over the scenic Rohtang Pass into the Lahaul Valley, visit Raja Gyepan Temple at Sissu Village and enjoy the mountain vistas en route; lunch is at Keylong (3350 m) and thereafter we continue across the high-altitude Baralacha Pass (4890 m) for a memorable drive to Sarchu with its stark plateau landscape and camp stay options. Overnight stay in Sarchu or Jispa.

Day 02: Sarchu to Leh Nakee La and Tanglang La

After an early breakfast we depart Sarchu for Leh crossing Nakee La and Lachang La passes, with lunch at Pang, then traverse the vast Skyangchu Thang plateau and ascend Tanglang La (approx 17,585 ft) before descending into the Indus Valley and driving alongside the Indus River to reach Upshi and then Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Leh Local Sightseeing Indus River and Monasteries

Post breakfast we visit Sindhu Darshan on the banks of the historic Indus River, proceed to Shey Palace, then Hemis Gompa—one of Ladakh’s largest monasteries—followed by Thiksey Monastery with its hilltop setting; later visit the Druk White Lotus School (Rancho School), Shanti Stupa for panoramic views, Leh Palace and the local market for an evening stroll. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh to Nubra Valley Khardung La and Diskit

After breakfast we drive via the high Khardung La to Nubra Valley, enjoying spectacular snow-capped panoramas; on arrival check in and explore Diskit Monastery with the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha, visit Hunder Village and the cold desert where you can opt for ATV rides and camel rides on the sand dunes (direct payment for activities). Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 05: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok Shyok Route and Tangtse

We depart Nubra following the route to Khalsar, take the left at Agyam bridge toward Shyok and Durbuk, then proceed via Tangtse to reach the spectacular Pangong Lake at about 14,000 ft; explore the lakeshore, visit the famous 3 Idiots shooting point, sample local food at lakeside stalls and enjoy the color-changing lake and sunset. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 06: Pangong Lake to Leh Sunrise and Changla Pass

Early morning enjoy sunrise over Pangong Lake, after breakfast drive back toward Leh with a short halt at Changla Pass for hot tea and photos, then continue to Leh for leisure time and overnight. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 07: Leh to Kargil Magnetic Hill and Lamayuru Monastery

After breakfast we leave for Kargil, visiting Magnetic Hill, the Hall of Fame museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers, then drive to Alchi Gompa and Lamayuru Monastery before crossing Fatu La and viewing the Mulbek giant Buddha rock sculpture en route to Kargil. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 08: Kargil to Srinagar Zojila Pass and Sonmarg

Following breakfast we drive toward Srinagar, visit the Kargil War Memorial Hall & Museum, stop for tea in Drass, cross the Zojila Pass and traverse the scenic stretch through Sonmarg before reaching Srinagar where the tour concludes with fond memories of Ladakh. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
