Day 01: Srinagar Arrival and Mughal Gardens

On arrival at Srinagar you will be met by our representative and transferred to your houseboat or hotel. In the afternoon visit the Shankracharya Temple which commands magnificent views over Srinagar city and the lakes, then tour the world‑famous Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshma Shahi the royal spring, Nishat Bagh the garden of pleasure and Shalimar Bagh the abode of love; en route visit a carpet weaving factory. Later you may enjoy an optional Shikara ride on Dal Lake to view Nehru Park, the bathing boats, Lotus Lake and Char Chinari and the floating vegetable and handicraft market. Evening at leisure for a walk around Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 02: Kargil via Sonmarg

After breakfast drive from Srinagar to Kargil passing through the scenic village stretch to Sonmarg (2740 meters), continue over the rough route to Zojila Pass (3527 meters) the gateway to Ladakh, then descend to Drass for a tea stop, passport check and visit to the War Memorial Hall and Museum. Continue the drive to Kargil where you arrive in the evening. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 03: Leh via Mulbek and Magnetic Hill

After breakfast drive from Kargil to Leh crossing three high passes including Fotu La (13749 ft). En route visit the Buddhist rock sculpture at Mulbek, stop at the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers near Nimu and see Magnetic Hill and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara before reaching Leh (3500 meters) in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 04: Leh Shey and Hemis Monastery

After breakfast drive to Sindhu Darshan on the banks of the Indus River then visit Shey Palace, the ancient summer retreat of Ladakhi royalty. Continue to Hemis Gompa, the largest Drukpa Kagyu monastery, with its wall paintings and thangkas, then visit Thiksey Monastery with its stupas and Buddha pillar. Later visit the Druk White Lotus School (Rancho School), Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks, and Leh Palace overlooking the town and local market. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 05: Nubra Diskit and Hunder Dunes

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes where you can admire the snow‑capped mountain vistas. Proceed to Nubra Valley, enjoy optional adventure activities such as ATV rides, then visit Diskit Monastery to see the 108 ft Maitreya Buddha statue and Hunder Sand Dunes where you can opt for a double‑humped camel ride. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 06: Pangong via Shyok and Durbuk

Depart Nubra following the route back toward Leh until Khalsar, then take the left route via Agyam bridge to the Shyok and Durbuk villages, continue through Tangtse and follow the traditional route to Pangong Lake. Explore the lake shore, visit local points of interest and small restaurants, and enjoy the colour changing lake and sunset at this high altitude brackish lake. Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 07: Leh Return and Changla Pass

Early morning enjoy sunrise over Pangong Lake, then after breakfast drive back to Leh with a short halt at Changla Pass for views and a cup of hot tea. Arrive Leh and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight. Tour concludes with sweet memories of Ladakh.
