Day 01: Leh Arrival and Shanti Stupa Visit

On arrival at Leh airport you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel where the full day is kept free for rest and acclimatization; in the evening visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and the local market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Shey and Hemis Monasteries

After breakfast drive to Sindhu Darshan on the banks of the Indus River about 7 km from Leh, then proceed to Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, and continue to Thiksey Monastery perched on a hill with stupas, statues, thangka and wall paintings; later visit Hemis Monastery, built in 1630 and the largest Drukpa Kagyu foundation with fine wall paintings and thangkas, and stop at Stok Palace Museum before returning to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Nubra Khardung La and Hunder

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (highest motorable road at 18,380 ft) and continue to Hunder village; on arrival check in to the camp and after lunch enjoy the sand dunes where one can also enjoy a camel safari. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 04: Leh Deskit Monastery and Return

After breakfast visit Deskit Monastery for panoramic views of Nubra Valley, then drive back to Leh by the same route crossing Khardung La Pass and arrive in Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 05: Leh Departure and Airport Transfer

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your flight back to destination. Tour ends.
