Day 1: Arrival and Acclimatization in Leh
Upon your arrival at Leh airport, you will be transferred to your pre-booked accommodation. The rest of the day is dedicated to acclimatization to the high altitude. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley Excursion
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sham Valley, which includes visits to the ancient Alchi Monastery, the scenic Sangam, the confluence point of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers, the intriguing Magnetic Hill, and the sacred Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. In the evening, you will visit the Hall of Fame museum and witness the captivating Light & Sound show. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley Adventure
Following breakfast, you will drive to Nubra Valley via the Khardungla Pass, renowned as the second-highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 feet. Enjoy short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic viewpoints for photography. En route, indulge in adventure activities such as ATV bike rides, Go-karting, or rafting. Upon arrival at your hotel/camp, after lunch, you will proceed to the Sand Dunes for an unforgettable camel safari on the unique double-humped camels found only in Ladakh and Mongolia, between Deskit and Hundur villages. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake Serenity
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Big Buddha at Diskit Village before departing for Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet. Upon reaching your camp, you will have free time to relax and admire the mesmerizing color-changing hues of the lake and witness a beautiful sunset on its banks. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
Day 5: Pangong Lake to Hanle via Tsaga La
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive towards Hanle. En route, you will pass through Chushul Village and make a poignant stop at the Rezangla War Memorial, dedicated to PVC Major Shaitan Singh. Continue your journey over Tsaga La at 15,200 feet, pass the Loma bend, and finally reach Hanle, home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory, one of the highest observatories globally, renowned for its exceptional star-gazing opportunities. Overnight stay in Hanle.
Day 6: Hanle, Umlingla, and Chumathang Hot Springs
The day begins with a drive to Umlingla Pass, recognized as the highest motorable road in the world. You will then return to Hanle. After lunch, drive back to Leh, passing through Mahay and visiting the therapeutic Chumathang hot springs. En route, you will also visit the impressive Tiksey Monastery before reaching Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7: Leh City Tour and Leisure
Following breakfast, embark on a half-day tour of Leh city, visiting the serene Shanti Stupa, the historic Leh Palace, and Sindhu Ghat. Enjoy lunch and then have some free time for shopping or relaxation. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 8: Departure from Leh
