Day 1: Transfer to Santiniketan
Pickup from Kolkata in the morning and transfer to Santiniketan Resort. Upon arrival, check-in, rest, and relax. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 2: Santiniketan Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing, visiting notable attractions such as the Uttarayan Complex, Rabindra Museum, Rabindra Tagore’s Konark, Mrinmoyee, Shyamoli, Udichi, Punascha, Udayan, Studio Chitrabhanu, Kalabhavan, Chhatimtala, Upasana Mandir, Amaar Kutir, Ballavpur Deer Park, Sangeet Bhavan, Shiksha Bhavan, Vidya Bhavan, Patha Bhavan, and Khoai (Sonajhuri Haat, available only on Saturdays). Return to the resort in the evening. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 3: Kankalitala Temple and Departure
After breakfast, visit the Kankalitala Temple. Later, check out from the resort and transfer to Kolkata. The 2N/3D Shantiniktan Tour concludes with wonderful memories.

Upon arriving at Santiniketan, I was greeted warmly by the Ocean6 representative who ensured a smooth transfer to our accommodation. The choice of lodging was comfortable, reflecting the local aesthetic. After settling in, we embarked on a tour of the nearby attractions, which included visits to the vibrant local markets and the famous Visva-Bharati University, founded by Rabindranath Tagore. The atmosphere was serene, and it was fascinating to learn about the cultural heritage of this unique town.
The second day was dedicated to deeper exploration. The itinerary included visits to significant places like Tagore’s Ashram and Chhatimtala, where Tagore composed many of his works. The guides provided insightful anecdotes that enriched our understanding of Tagore’s philosophy and the significance of the location. We also enjoyed a traditional Bengali lunch, which was a highlight! The day ended with an opportunity to interact with local artisans, giving us a glimpse into the traditional crafts that Santiniketan is known for.
