Day 1: Arrival at Imphal

Upon arrival at Imphal, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Shri Govindajee Temple, the most sacred Vaishnavite temple in Imphal, located adjacent to the palace of the former rulers of the state. If time permits, take a walk around Imphal to experience the evening ambiance of the city. Overnight stay at the hotel in Imphal.

Day 2: Day in Rural Village Near Imphal

After breakfast, visit the two World War II Cemeteries and the historic Kangla Fort. Later, drive to Andro village and visit the temple of Lord Panam Ningthou, the ruling god of Andro village. Within the temple, you’ll find the sacred fireplace, which has been burning from time immemorial—its extinction is believed to signify the end of the world. Explore the Cultural Complex, which houses various potteries, musical instruments, and a dollhouse featuring replicas of various tribes settled in the state. Day 3: Imphal to Sangshak – Ukhrul

After an early breakfast, depart for Ukhrul, the cultural hub of the Tangkhul Naga Tribe. Along the way, visit the market areas at Litan and Lambui, offering insights into the food habits of the Tangkhul Naga Tribe. Visit the World War II Memorial at Sangshak, and take a walk through the nearby village. Day 4: Ukhrul – Shiroy – Ukhrul

After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour trek to Shiroy Peak, standing at 2,835 meters above sea level. The Shiroy Lily blossoms on this hill during May and June. Day 5: Imphal – Loktak Lake

After breakfast, drive to Moirang and then to Sendra Island. Day 6: Explore Keibul Lamjao

Begin your day with an early morning canoe ride to Keibul Lamjao National Park, the only floating national park in the world, home to the endangered brow-antlered deer, locally known as the Sangai.
