Day 01: Arrival at Khola Gate – Bhitarkanika Eco Resorts

Your first stop will be the Bird Sanctuary, where you can witness the nesting and breeding of various migratory birds. As you glide through the waterways, you’ll visit the Ramsar site, known for its ecological significance, and then marvel at the breathtaking sunset at the confluence of the Brahmani and Baitarani rivers. Day 02: Exploring Bhitarkanika – Nature Trails and Crocodile Spotting

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on another boat journey to explore more of Bhitarkanika’s wonders. The first destination is the ancient Hunting Tower of the local king, where you will take a 3-kilometer nature trail walk through lush greenery to reach the tower and the serene Lotus Pond. As you continue your boat journey, keep an eye out for crocodiles basking in the sun and the vibrant species of Kingfishers along the creeks. Your next stop is Dangamal, where you will visit the museum and crocodile breeding center, home to the rare white crocodile.

In the afternoon, return to the resort and take some time to relax or participate in a variety of activities such as badminton, volleyball, archery, angling, or a guided village tour to experience the local culture.
