Day 1: Guwahati to Tezpur

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, you will be received by our representative and transferred to Tezpur. On arrival, check in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Tezpur.

Day 2: Tezpur to Dirang

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Dirang. On the way, visit Tipi Orchidarium situated on the banks of the river Bharali, home to over 500 orchid species. On arrival, check into the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 3: Dirang to Tawang

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Tawang, the Land of Hidden Paradise. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Sela Pass (13,700 ft), Jaswant Garh War Memorial, and Nuranng Falls along the way. On arrival, check in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 4: Tawang Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the world-famous Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse, which overlooks the wide Tawang Valley at a height of 10,000 ft. Then proceed to the War Memorial dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian war, locally called ‘Namgyal Chortan’. You can also visit the craft center in Tawang, which sells beautiful masks, hand-woven carpets, jewelry in silver, coral, and amber, ‘chubas’ (the local dress), and delightful affordable mementos. The evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 5: Tawang – Madhuri Lake and Bumla Pass

After an early breakfast, drive to Madhuri Lake and Bumla Pass, located near the Indo-China border at over 15,200 ft above sea level. On the return journey, take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO Lake (Pangong Tang Tso Lake). Later in the afternoon, drive back to the hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang. (Note: Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake visit at own cost by Local Association Vehicle).

Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila

After breakfast, transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft), the headquarters of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh, known for its Buddhist monasteries. On arrival, check in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

Day 7: Bomdila to Kaziranga

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga National Park, home of the world-famous one-horned rhinos. Kaziranga National Park is also a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. On arrival, check in at the hotel/resort. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 8: Kaziranga – Guwahati

Early morning, explore a zone of Kaziranga National Park on a Jeep Safari. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants, and if you are lucky, tigers. The park is also home to pelicans, storks, and darters, as there are several water bodies inside the park. Return to the resort for breakfast. Check out from the resort and proceed to Guwahati. En route, visit Maha Mrityunjoy Temple at Nagaon. On arrival, check in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 9: Guwahati Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Maa Kamakhya Temple. After darshan, drive to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
