Arrive at Bagdogra airport, where you will be greeted by our local representative, who will also serve as your driver and guide. Board your vehicle and drive to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok. (Special Note: Since the drive from Bagdogra to Gangtok takes about 5 hours, we recommend booking a morning or afternoon flight to ensure you arrive at the hotel at a convenient time.)
In the morning, embark on an excursion to Tshangu Lake (12,400 ft / 3,780 m, 43 km, approximately 3 hours one way from Gangtok) through the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary. Continue to Baba Mandir (13,100 ft / 3,994 m, 16 km, approximately 1 hour one way from Tshangu Lake). Note: Foreign nationals are only allowed to visit Tshangu Lake with a valid permit and must be in a group of two or more. The lake, situated at a height of 12,400 ft, has an average depth of 50 ft and its cool waters are in perfect harmony with the surrounding scenic beauty. Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay. (In case of landslide or other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed, alternate sightseeing will be provided. The supplement cost for Nathula Pass is extra and it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, subject to permit availability.)
After breakfast, drive to Lachung (8,700 ft). Upon arrival in Lachung, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung.
In the morning, check out from the hotel and proceed to Gangtok. On the way, if the weather is clear, you may get to see the mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik viewpoint. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure, relaxing in the comfort of your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
In the morning, check out from the hotel and proceed to Pelling. This pleasant little town is famous for its magnificent views of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga range, the third-highest peak in the world. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pelling.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Darjeeling via Singla check post. Known as the “Queen of Hills,” Darjeeling is a hill station in West Bengal that was once a summer resort for the British Raj and still retains its charm. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Wake up around 4:00 AM and proceed to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft, the world’s third highest peak). On the way back to your hotel, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a sightseeing tour including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), a Tea Garden (outer view), and the Japanese Temple. Enjoy a 2-hour ride from Ghum to Batasia Loop to take in breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga range (tickets subject to availability). Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling. (Note: Toy Train tickets are extra. The visit to Darjeeling Tiger Hill is subject to availability of permission.)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Bagdogra airport to catch your flight for your onward journey. The tour concludes with happy memories.

We took this tour as a family, and it was one of our best vacations yet! The kids loved exploring Tsomgo Lake and the waterfalls in Pelling. What an incredible experience! Each day was filled with breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural experiences. Visiting the monasteries in Gangtok was a spiritual experience, and the sunrise at Tiger Hill was simply unforgettable. The local food was delicious, and the tour was very well organized.
