While the tour was incredibly enjoyable, a slightly more structured itinerary for Day 2 would enhance the experience. We had ample time for local sightseeing, but some guided information about the local flora, fauna, and cultural significance would have added depth to our adventure.
Highlights: From the moment we arrived at NJP Railway Station, the transition to Charkhole was smooth and efficient, thanks to the attentive representatives from Ocean6 Holidays. The drive to Charkhole was scenic, setting the perfect tone for what awaited us in this tranquil village.

I recently had the pleasure of joining the 2N/3D Charkhole Tour organized by Ocean6 Holidays, and it was truly an enchanting experience that showcased the beauty of the Eastern Himalayas.
The highlight of Day 2 was undoubtedly the local sightseeing. Exploring the Neora Valley Forest Trail was a nature lover’s dream. The rich biodiversity, with its towering pine and rhododendron trees, provided a picturesque backdrop for birdwatching. I was thrilled to spot various birds like the Blue Fronted Redstart and Himalayan Bulbul, making it a paradise for avid birdwatchers.
