Day 1: Mangalore – Transfer to Bekal & Fort Introduction

Meet our representative at Mangalore International Airport or railway station and transfer south into Kerala to the Bekal region around Kasaragod, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by road, an easy coastal run crossing from Karnataka into North Malabar. Bekal sits at Kerala’s northern edge, quieter and far less trafficked than the state’s central and southern coast. Check in and spend the late afternoon at Bekal Fort itself, best in the softening light, the largest fort in Kerala, its laterite ramparts running right along the sea. Overnight in Bekal.

Day 2: Bekal – Fort, Beaches, Backwaters & North Malabar Life

A full day across Bekal’s genuinely under-visited coast.
