Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun / Haridwar – Transfer to Dhanaulti

Arrive in Dehradun or Haridwar and meet our tour representative at the airport or railway station. Transfer to Dhanaulti, a quiet ridge settlement beyond Mussoorie known for its deodar and oak cover and its thin crowds. The drive takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours from Dehradun and 3.5 to 4 hours from Haridwar, passing through Mussoorie before the road narrows and climbs along the ridge. After checking in at your hotel, visit Eco Park, laid out as two adjoining forest parks, Amber and Dhara, with walking trails under old deodars. End the day at the Dashavatar Temple viewpoint as the light drops over the valley. Overnight stay in Dhanaulti.

Day 2: Dhanaulti Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Surkanda Devi Temple, reached either by a ropeway from Kaddukhal or a steep 1.5 km walk, with wide views towards the Himalayan range on a clear morning. Continue to Kanatal for the Tehri Dam and Tehri Lake viewpoints, where the reservoir is visible from the road above. Return through Dhanaulti in the afternoon for the Apple Orchard and Potato Farm stops, and spend the remaining light at the Dhanaulti Adventure Park for zip lining, rappelling and the sky bridge, or simply walk the ridge road under the deodars. Overnight stay in Dhanaulti.

Day 3: Dhanaulti – Dehradun / Haridwar Departure

Start with an early visit to the Dhanaulti view point for the first light on the ranges, followed by a short stop at the Deodar Forest trail near the main market. Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and descend towards Dehradun. Depending on your departure time, stop at Mussoorie for Mall Road and Camel’s Back Road, or at Kempty Falls, before transferring to Dehradun airport, or continue to Haridwar for your onward journey.
