Day 5: Gurez to Srinagar | Departure from the Sub-Himalayan Valleys
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Gurez Valley. Prepare for departure back to Srinagar. The road from Gurez to Srinagar passes through narrow towns and villages and can be quite busy, so the 130 km journey can take up to 7 hours. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check in to a houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure from Srinagar | Farewell to the Paradise
Wake up, have a sumptuous breakfast, pack your bags, and check out from the hotel or houseboat. If time permits, enjoy some local sightseeing in Srinagar. he accommodations during the Offbeat Kashmir Tour were quite comfortable. Staying in a houseboat on Dal Lake was the highlight of my stay! The rooms were cozy and well-maintained. The meals were delicious, with plenty of local flavors. The only downside was the limited Wi-Fi connectivity, but it was refreshing to disconnect and enjoy the serene surroundings.
