Day 1: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

Experience a breathtaking flight over the Himalayas. Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be greeted by a Kailash expeditions representative and transferred to your hotel, Casa Galwan. Enjoy a welcome tea and coffee, and spend the rest of the day resting to allow your body to acclimatize to the high altitude. Day 2: Monastery and Heritage Walk

Early in the morning, visit the 15th-century Thiksey Monastery to participate in a special morning prayer ceremony. You will be guided through the monastery complex, exploring prayer rooms filled with handwritten books and the shrine of the goddess Tara. Day 3: Trek to Rumbak Village

After breakfast, depart from Leh for Zingchen, the starting point of your trek to Rumbak. Begin your hike along the Rumbak River on a gradual and scenic path, keeping an eye out for blue sheep, Himalayan marmots, and various bird species. Arrive at Rumbak Village in the afternoon and check-in at the Rumbak Lodge or a local homestay. Savor a traditional Ladakhi meal. Take a walk around the village to familiarize yourself with the area, and visit nearby vantage points with your guide for a chance to spot snow leopards, golden eagles, and other wildlife. Day 4: Rumbak Wildlife Exploration

Start your day early with a hearty breakfast at the Lodge, heading out with your guide to prime locations for wildlife observation, especially for snow leopards and blue sheep in Husing Valley, which is renowned for its wildlife. The terrain is rugged and offers an immersive experience in the park’s natural beauty. Enjoy your lunch outdoors, surrounded by the raw beauty of the Himalayan landscape. Afternoon, trek to Yurutse village, often called the “Snow Leopard Capital”. In the evening return to Rumbak for another wildlife spotting session, focusing on the movement of animals during dusk. Overnight spend your second night at Rumbak Lodge or homestay.

Day 5: Final Wildlife Spotting

Today is your last day for wildlife spotting. Make one last early morning attempt to spot wildlife, focusing on species you may have missed, like blue sheep and Himalayan birds. Enjoy your last meal at Rumbak Lodge, soaking in the views and the tranquil environment. After breakfast, begin your trek back to Zingchen. Upon reaching Zingchen, your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Pangong Lake Excursion

Get up early in the morning and drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok. Marvel at the turquoise color of the panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes. Stroll around the lake and let the mother nature soothe you. Enjoy a picnic lunch. Later, drive back to Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Departure

After an early breakfast, depart to the airport for your onward destination, flying back with sweet memories of Ladakh.
