Day 1: Arrival Day
Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport, travelers will be transported by the Flybus shuttle to Hotel Cabin in Reykjavík for an overnight stay. Guests will have the opportunity to explore Iceland’s capital city at their own pace if time allows, with provided suggestions for self-guided tours.
Overnight location: Hotel Cabin (Budget version, standard room is 10m²) or Hótel Klettur (Comfort version) or similar in Reykjavík. Dinner is on your own. (50km / 31mi)
Day 2: Reykjanes Peninsula, Blue Lagoon & Christmas Celebration
At 09:00, travelers will meet their tour guide and begin a journey to experience the Christmas spirit in Reykjavík and the Reykjanes Peninsula. This tour includes visits to hot springs, mountains, moon-like landscapes, bird cliffs, lighthouses, and fishing villages. The day concludes with a relaxing soak in the warm blue waters of the famous Blue Lagoon. Travelers will then transfer to simple cottages in South Iceland for a two-night stay.
In the evening, the group will celebrate Christmas the Icelandic way. Before dinner, a guided bus tour will showcase the Christmas lights in the villages of Hvolsvöllur and Hella. These traditional lights have roots in the Pagan Old Norse beliefs and the Winter Solstice celebrations. The festive dinner will be served at Stracta Hotel in Hella around 19:30, featuring a toast of sparkling wine and a special Christmas celebration. After dinner, travelers can look out for the Northern Lights in the garden.

Day 3: South Iceland with Optional Glacier Hike
The journey continues along the south coast, reaching the area beneath the Eyjafjallajökull volcano and glacier. Travelers will stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall and visit the Skógar folk museum, which showcases early Modern Iceland with its turf houses. Lunch will be at the Skógarfoss waterfall.
In the afternoon, there is an optional glacier hike on the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue, which extends from the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Booking for the hike should be made directly with the operator, ensuring it is on the third day of the tour at the 14:30 (2:30 pm) time slot.
For those not participating in the glacier hike, the tour continues to the Black Lava Beach at Reynisfjara, the Cap of Dyrhólaey, and the Reynisdrangar Sea Cliffs before visiting the charming village of Vík. If the night is clear, travelers might witness the Northern Lights dancing across the sky in dramatic shapes and colors.

Day 4: Golden Circle & Culinary Experience Downtown Reykjavík

The journey continues along the Golden Circle route, where they will see steam rising from the Geysir geothermal fields and admire the double waterfall of Gullfoss. The afternoon concludes with a visit to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of the ancient Viking Parliament.
The day ends with a culinary treat at a traditional restaurant located downtown Reykjavík, with a return transfer included.
