Day 1: Arrive Delhi & Drive to Mussoorie (8 Hrs)

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be picked up and proceed toward Mussoorie, a wonderful hill station in Uttarakhand. Situated at the foothills of the Himalayas, Mussoorie is known as the Queen of the Hills. The name Mussoorie is derived from the plants of Mussoorie or the shrub Mansoor, found in large quantities in this region. The lush green hills, varied flora and fauna, and majestic views of the Shivalik ranges and the Doon Valley attract hundreds of tourists, both domestic and international, each year. Mussoorie is also famous for the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, where officers are trained for the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service. Day 2: Mussoorie Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Kempty Falls, a popular tourist destination. Continue to the Municipal Garden, also known as the Botanical Gardens of Mussoorie, established by geologist Dr. H.Fackner. Next, visit Gun Hill, the second highest point in Mussoorie, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges. Explore Lal Tibba, the highest point in Mussoorie, located in the area called Landour. Stroll along Mall Road and visit the Company Garden. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mussoorie. (Mussoorie Mall Road sightseeing not included, Gun Hill trolley cost and Lal Tibba union car cost not included)

Day 3: Mussoorie to Corbett (7 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Corbett by road. Corbett National Park, located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, is a renowned wildlife sanctuary and India’s first national park, established in 1936. Known for its rich biodiversity, the park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, offering opportunities to spot tigers and other exotic wildlife species. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Corbett.

Day 4: Corbett Local Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the park by jeep (optional, at additional cost) to view some of the most exotic wildlife and flora and fauna. In the afternoon, proceed for another game viewing drive and try your luck at spotting the elusive tiger. Return to the hotel for the rest of the day at leisure. Day 5: Corbett to Kausani (4 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kausani, a nature lover’s paradise known for its stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. Mahatma Gandhi was so impressed by Kausani’s scenic beauty that he called it the “Switzerland of India”. Visit the Anashakti Ashram, where Gandhi stayed, and see the nearby tea factory to learn about tea processing. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kausani.

Day 6: Kausani – Baijnath – Kausani (1 Hr)

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Baijnath Temple, a revered shrine in Uttarakhand located 16 km from Kausani. Built by the Kumaon Katyuri King in 1150 A.D., the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds significant importance as it is believed that Shiva and Parvati were married here. Return to Kausani and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kausani.

Day 7: Kausani to Nainital (3 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Nainital, a beautiful lake town nestled among forests. According to legend, Nainital was named after the left eye (nain) of Lord Shiva’s wife, Sati, which fell here and formed an emerald eye-shaped lake. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, visit Naini Lake and take a stroll along Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nainital. Day 8: Nainital Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the scenic beauty of Nainital. Visit Bhim Tal, Sat Tal, and Naukuchia Tal, three stunning lakes in the region. Continue to Snow Point, Thandi Sadak, and take a cable car ride for a bird’s-eye view of the area. Stroll along Mall Road and visit other attractions. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Nainital. (Nainital Mall Road sightseeing not included)

Day 9: Nainital to Delhi Drop (9 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Delhi by road. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station to board your flight or train back home. The tour concludes with happy memories.
