Upon your arrival in Istanbul, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. You will attend a welcome meeting at the hotel with your guide and fellow guests at 7 pm. Afterwards, we will drive to Taksim Square for dinner at an Indian restaurant. Following dinner, enjoy a walking tour of Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Between 08:30 – 09:00 am you will be picked up from your hotel for a full day guided tour of Istanbul’s historic sites. You will visit the Hagia Sophia Mosque, the Byzantine Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque famous for its blue Iznik tiles, the Topkapi Palace, former residence of Ottoman Sultans and Grand Bazaar, Turkey’s largest covered market with 4000 shops. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Following a hotel pick up in Istanbul, you’ll be privately transferred to the airport for a direct flight to Cappadocia, approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival in Cappadocia, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel by a private car and driver. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore. Consider an optional ATV Ride Safari. Dinner will be done at a local restaurant or the hotel. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Begin your day with an optional early morning hot air balloon tour to witness the magnificent views of the Cappadocia region. After breakfast, the tour will commence from Pigeon Valley (Imagination Valley) with its spectacular fairy chimneys and landscapes. Then, visit one of the underground cities. Enjoy lunch at Avanos (at own expense), famous for pottery where you will try your hand at this craft. Visit Redriver (Kızılırmak). After lunch visit open air museum which heart of Cappadocia. Open air museum is famous for wall painting and dates back to the 10th century and describes the life of Jesus Christ and monks. The final stop will be Uchisar Castle. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
After breakfast, depart for Pamukkale, stopping en route in Konya. You will visit the city of Konya, which is the home of the Whirling Dervishes, a religious order founded by the Sufi (Muslim sage), Mevlâna in the 13th century. We will visit Selimiye Mosque and the Mevlana Museum, then transfer to your hotel in Pamukkale. Overnight stay in Pamukkale.
Following breakfast, your first visit will be to Hierapolis, the ancient Greco-Roman city on top of hot springs. Here, you’ll explore the large necropolis, Great Baths, Frontinus Street, Theatre, and Martyrion of St. Phillip. (Please note the Hirepolis sights are covered by walking. Hirepolis also offers buggys at the entrance which can be hired by paying extra directly). Finally, marvel at the travertines, the terraces of carbonate minerals left by flowing water, and enjoy a barefooted walk. Then you will be transferred to Antalya. Overnight stay in Antalya.
Today after breakfast, we will visit famous waterfall, Antalya’s unique natural wonder, located on the Duden River, afterward pass to Kaleiçi; the old town where you can see Hadrianus Gate, the Clock Tower, Fluted Minaret, and the ancient harbor and enjoy the narrow streets of the old city. Lastly, you will take a boat trip sailing on the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight stay in Antalya.
After breakfast, transfer to Antalya airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you’ll proceed to the Spice Bazaar for shopping. Afterwards, enjoy a cruise on the Bosphorus, sailing between Europe and Asia. Your farewell dinner will be at an Indian restaurant. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Following breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
