Fixed Departure: Every Sunday

Day 01: Arrival in Madrid

Upon arrival in Madrid, you will be transferred to your hotel and have free time to explore the city at your own pace. In the afternoon, information about the start of your tour will be available on the boards located at the hotel reception. Overnight stay in Madrid.

Day 02: Castile & León Exploration

An early departure will take you through Castile and León, with a stop in Tordesillas to learn about the town’s history and enjoy a coffee at its main square. Continue to León, where you’ll have time for lunch and a visit to the stunning Gothic cathedral. Afterward, cross the Cantabrian Range en route to Asturias, arriving in Oviedo in the evening. Enjoy a one-and-a-half-hour city tour with a local guide, either this evening or the next morning, visiting the 9th-century cathedral, the Congress Palace of Oviedo, Campoamor Theatre, and Calle Rúa. Conclude the day with a traditional Asturian dinner in a typical cider house. Overnight stay in Oviedo.

Day 03: Peaks & Coastal Wonders

Travel to the Picos de Europa (Peaks of Europe), starting with a visit to the Basilica of Covadonga. Follow the coastline to Santillana, one of Spain’s most beautiful towns with an intact medieval quarter. Visit the Altamira Cave Museum (tickets included). Later, head to Santander, the capital of the region, for a panoramic tour with a local guide, exploring this elegant coastal city and its beautiful bay. Overnight stay in Santander.

Day 04: Basque Country & Rioja

Follow the motorway along the Cantabrian coast to Bilbao, the largest city in the Basque Country. Enjoy a brief city tour with a local guide, exploring highlights such as the Guggenheim area, the old quarter, and the Cathedral. Afterward, you’ll have free time to savor authentic “pintxos”. Continue to La Rioja, renowned for its exceptional wines, and visit the Wine Culture Museum in Briones. Arrive in Zaragoza in the evening. Overnight stay in Zaragoza.

Day 05: Zaragoza & Catalonia

Begin the day with a morning panoramic tour of Zaragoza guided by a local expert, including the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Delve into the works of the famous painter Goya and discover some of his masterpieces. The tour will move on to the Roman theatre, a Renaissance palace, and take a stroll by the Aljafería Palace. Day 06: Barcelona’s Charms

Enjoy a morning panoramic tour of Barcelona, renowned as one of the most fascinating European capitals. Discover Gaudi’s modernist architecture, the bustling Ramblas, and its rich history. You’ll have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, a transfer is provided to Maremagnum, a contemporary entertainment and dining complex by the sea, near Plaza de Colón. Day 07: Mediterranean to Madrid

Travel south along the Mediterranean, making a stop in Peniscola, a charming walled town by the sea, with time for a stroll. Continue to Valencia, a vibrant port city on the Levantine coast, arriving around lunchtime. After lunch continue to Madrid, after a brief stop at the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. Arrive in Madrid in the evening. Overnight stay in Madrid.
