Day 1: Arrival at KLIA – Kuala Lumpur
Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur at your own pace. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Day 2: Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Tahan – Taman Negara
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check out and prepare for an overland journey to Kuala Tahan. Along the way, you will stop for a photo opportunity at the famous Batu Caves. The drive to Kuala Tahan jetty is approximately 270 km. Upon arrival at Kuala Tahan, you will cross to Taman Negara by a shared boat.
Once you arrive, you can register for your entry permit and license, and if you wish, purchase a photographic license (MYR 5 per camera). Enjoy lunch on your own before checking into your accommodation. Dinner will be served at the restaurant. In the evening, you will meet your guide at the main lobby, followed by an exciting night jungle walk with a nature guide. Overnight at Taman Negara.
Day 3: Taman Negara
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the resort. Join your nature guide for a morning of jungle trekking to the Canopy Walkway and Teresek Hill, where you can experience breathtaking views of the rainforest. Return to the resort for lunch at the restaurant.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise to Lata Berkoh, where you will visit the gigantic tree and feed the fish at Kelah Sanctuary. Dinner will be served at the restaurant.
Note: The Canopy Walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance. Please avoid arriving or checking in on Thursday. Overnight at Mutiara Taman Negara.
Day 4: Taman Negara – Cameron Highlands
After breakfast at the resort, check out and take the shared boat back to Kuala Tahan (a short 5-minute ride, MYR 1 per person per way). Meet your driver and guide for an overland transfer to Cameron Highlands, approximately 280 km away. En route, you will visit Lata Iskandar Waterfall and a native settlement. Upon arrival in Cameron Highlands, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the beautiful surroundings.
The Cameron Highlands are known for their emerald tea plantations and cool, refreshing climate. Temperatures here rarely exceed 30°C, making it a popular retreat for those seeking respite from the heat. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cameron Highlands.
Day 5: Cameron Highlands – Kuala Lumpur
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the BOH Tea Factory and tea plantations to see the tea-making process (the factory is closed every Monday). Take in the cool breeze and savor a cup of freshly brewed tea. You will also visit a strawberry farm and a local market selling a variety of local vegetables, flowers, and fruits. After the tour, you will be transferred back to Kuala Lumpur. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Day 6: Kuala Lumpur City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a half-day city tour of Kuala Lumpur. This tour will allow you to enjoy the charm and character of this modern metropolis that never fails to surprise visitors. Stop at the National Museum (photo stop only, entrance ticket not included) to witness the stark contrast between Indo-Moorish architecture and ultra-modern buildings. Visit Thean Hou Temple, a six-tiered temple dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu, and view the new King’s Palace from the outside. You will also visit the National Monument, Lake Gardens, National Mosque, and the old Moorish-style Railway Station. Stop at Independence Square and take photos at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin buildings in the world. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel. The afternoon is free for you to explore more of Kuala Lumpur at your own pace. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Day 7: Departure from Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time until your transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for your flight back home or to your next destination. Safe travels and farewell!
