Day 1: Transfer to Pangot
Upon arrival at Kathgodam Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Pangot. After check-in, spend the evening at leisure with a soft birdwatching trek around the area. Pangot is a paradise for birdwatchers and you might spot species such as the Himalayan Griffon, Blue-winged Minla, Spotted and Slaty-backed Forktail, Rufous-bellied Woodpecker, and various species of pheasants. Overnight stay at Pangot.
Day 2: Short Excursion & Full-Day Birdwatching
After breakfast, set out for a full day of birdwatching in Pangot. The dense forests and rich biodiversity offer sightings of a wide variety of birds, including the Cheer Pheasant, Koklass Pheasant, Lammergeier, Rufous-bellied Niltava, Long-tailed Broadbill, and Yellow-bellied Fantail. Return to your accommodation for an evening at leisure and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Sattal
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Sattal. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and spend the evening at leisure with a soft birdwatching trek around the area. Sattal is known for its diverse birdlife and you may spot species such as the Red-billed Leothrix, Rufous-chinned Laughingthrush, Green-tailed Sunbird, and various species of babblers. Overnight stay at Sattal.
Day 4: Excursion to Nainital
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Nainital. Explore the beautiful hill station and its surroundings. In addition to the local sights, you may also encounter bird species such as the Black-chinned Babbler, White-throated Laughingthrush, and the elusive Hill Partridge. Return to Sattal for an evening at leisure and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Kathgodam
After breakfast, check out from your resort and transfer to Kathgodam Station for your onward journey.
