This day was dedicated to visiting the Dakhineswar Temple and Belur Math. The intricate architecture of both sites was impressive, and the atmosphere was tranquil. It was an enriching experience to witness the blend of spirituality and stunning craftsmanship.
Next, we visited the Kalighat Temple, which was bustling with devotees. The energy was palpable, and it felt deeply spiritual. Our exploration continued to the famous Howrah Bridge, where I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and took numerous photos. The day concluded with some shopping at local markets, where I indulged in some delicious street food—a must-try in Kolkata!

After breakfast, we set off for Gangasagar, which is steeped in mythology. The drive was scenic, and upon arrival, I was mesmerized by the serene beauty of Sagar Island. Visiting the Kapil Muni Ashram provided a deeper connection to the spiritual essence of the region. The peaceful surroundings made for a perfect retreat.
