Day 01: Arrival in Lisbon

Welcome to Lisbon! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, check the hotel reception boards for information about the start of your Europamundo tour. Overnight stay in Lisbon.

Day 02: Exploring Lisbon’s Charm

Embark on a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, delving into the Portuguese capital of seven hills. Explore its charming alleys, iconic tiles, and experience the feeling of “saudade” amidst the beautiful Atlantic light. Visit the Belem neighborhood, from where Portuguese navigators set sail in the 15th century. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to walk and explore the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint, or consider an optional trip to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. In the evening, you’ll return to the hotel from the vibrant Restauradores Square, known for its bars and cafes. Overnight stay in Lisbon.

Day 03: Southern Portugal Adventure

Depart early for southern Portugal, crossing the Tagus River over its long bridge amidst beautiful landscapes. Arrive in the Algarve and explore the historic city of Lagos, known for its port and historic center within ancient walls. There will be time for lunch. In the afternoon, journey to Cape St. Vincent, the westernmost point of continental Europe, with windswept cliffs and a chance to photograph the Sagres fortress. Spend time in Albufeira, relaxing on its beaches or exploring its lively historic center. Overnight stay in Albufeira or a neighboring city in the Algarve.

Day 04: Alentejo’s Historical Gems

Travel to Faro for a leisurely stroll. Continue into the Alentejo region and visit Mértola, a walled town-museum on the Guadiana River, with its large castle and whitewashed houses. Then, proceed to Évora to visit the Chapel of Bones (admission included), and explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its medieval palaces, Gothic religious buildings, and ancient Roman temple. Overnight stay in Évora.

Day 05: Medieval Villages to Fátima

Travel through Alentejo’s landscapes, stopping in Marvão, a picturesque walled town with panoramic views, and Castelo de Vide, with its castle and old Jewish quarter where you can visit the medieval synagogue (now a museum). After lunch, continue to Tomar, renowned for the Convent of Christ (admission included). Before arriving in Fátima, stop in Aljustrel, the village where the three young shepherds who witnessed Virgin Mary´s apparitions were born, to see Lucia’s house. Upon arrival in Fátima, enjoy free time at the Sanctuary of Fátima, and watch the candlelight procession if you wish (not held in winter). Dinner will be included. Overnight stay in Fátima.

Day 06: Porto River Cruise

Travel north to Porto, arriving around 11:00 a.m. Take a 50-minute boat ride along the Douro River on a traditional Portuguese “Rabelo”, admire the city from the water and drink a delicious Port wine. Afterwards, you will have free time. Overnight stay in Porto.

Day 07: Galicia’s Scenic Beauty

Travel through stunning landscapes. In Braga, ride the world’s oldest water-operated cable car to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, where breathtaking views await. Explore the sanctuary and descend via its picturesque staircase. Continue to Cambados in Rías Baixas for a glass-bottom boat trip along the Ría de Arousa, learning about mussel and oyster production, enjoy wine and mussel tasting onboard. Arrive in Santiago de Compostela for a city tour led by a local guide, exploring its medieval streets and pilgrimage sites. Overnight stay in Santiago de Compostela.

Day 08: Following St. James’s Way

Travel along the Way of St. James, beginning with Lugo to explore the historic town center and its Roman walls. Visit O Cebreiro, a charming Galician stone village. Continue to León for lunchtime and visit the magnificent Gothic cathedral and stroll through the historic town center. Cross the Cantabrian Range to Asturias, arriving in Oviedo by evening. Enjoy a tour of the city with a local guide, either upon arrival or the following morning, visiting the 9th-century cathedral, the Calatrava Congressional Palace, Campoamor Theatre, and Calle de la Rua. A traditional Asturian dinner will be included in a typical cider house. Overnight stay in Oviedo.

Day 09: Peaks of Europe Exploration

Travel to the Picos de Europa (Peaks of Europe). Visit the Basilica of Covadonga and then follow the coastline to Santillana, one of Spain’s most beautiful towns with an intact medieval quarter. Visit the Altamira Cave Museum (tickets included), located nearby. Head to Santander, the capital of the region, for a panoramic tour with a local guide, exploring this elegant coastal city and its beautiful bay. Overnight stay in Santander.

Day 10: Coastal Scenery to Bilbao

Follow the motorway along the Cantabrian coast to Bilbao, the largest city in the Basque Country. Take a brief city tour with a local guide, exploring highlights such as the Guggenheim area, the old quarter, and the Cathedral. Enjoy free time to savor authentic “pintxos”. Continue to La Rioja, visit the Wine Culture Museum in Briones to delve into the ancient art of winemaking. Arrive in Zaragoza in the evening. Overnight stay in Zaragoza.

Day 11: Zaragoza to Barcelona

Start with a morning panoramic tour of Zaragoza guided by a local expert, visit the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, delve into the works of Goya, and discover some of his masterpieces. Day 12: Barcelona Panoramic Tour

Embark on a panoramic tour of Barcelona, renowned as one of the most fascinating European capitals, with Gaudi’s modernist architecture, the bustling Ramblas, and its rich history. You´ll have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a transfer to Maremagnum, a contemporary entertainment and dining complex by the sea, near Plaza de Colón. Overnight stay in Barcelona.

Day 13: Mediterranean Coast to Madrid

Travel south along the Mediterranean, stopping in Peniscola, a charming walled town by the sea. Continue to Valencia, a vibrant port city, and try the famous paella. Stop at the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. Continue our journey to Madrid. As a way of welcoming you to the city, we’ll include a transfer to the Plaza Mayor, a popular spot to enjoy pinchos or wine at one of its many restaurants. Overnight stay in Madrid.

Day 14: Madrid City Exploration

Begin with a comprehensive tour of central Madrid, featuring highlights like Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. Visit Retiro Park, and see the lake and the Palacio de Cristal. Admission is included to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the home of Real Madrid. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. General Cancellation & Refund Policy

The consumer can withdraw from the contracted or requested services at any moment, having the right to the amounts he would have paid, indemnifying the agency (except causes of force majeure duly justified and demonstrable), as follows:

• Management fees of € 25 (30 USD) per file in case of cancellation less than 30 days before the start date of the tour. In the case of Trip Style tours, management fees will be invoiced regardless of the date of departure, once the reservation has been made.
• Cancellation fees that will include:
  • The expenses incurred for services that cannot be canceled regardless of the date of departure and once the reservation has been made (special attention to ferries / trains tickets, entrances included (as for the Alhambra in Granada ...).
  • A penalty variable depending on the tour.

The travel agency could also invoice the management expenses that would have accrued according to the legislation of the country where the sale took place.

If the cancellation occurs for reasons of force majeure before the start of the tour, management costs are billed exclusively, and the expenses caused by services that cannot be cancelled well in advance.

If the cancellation occurs due to an abandonment en route for reasons of force majeure once it has already begun, in case of reimbursement, this will be made through credit towards the realization of a subsequent trip, for the amount of the proportional part of what was paid / time not travelled. The management costs and the expenses incurred will be invoiced in all cases. For the purpose of calculating this amount, only the services provided by Our International DMC (not including the airfare, with the exception of those tours that include it) will be considered, and the refund will be made for the amount invoiced by Our International DMC to the travel agencies (therefore subject to deductions of assigned commissions).

The amount in deposit will be deducted from the new invoice, remaining in deposit, or billing the difference depending on the case. The voucher delivered will be nominative, without admitting change of name, and the passenger may select any tour from our offer. The deadline for this reimbursement is 2 years from the beginning of the services.

We recommend in any case the purchasing of a cancellation insurance.

Published prices in regular group coach tours, will be considered by person depending on the type of accommodation. In the cases when after the resignation or cancellation en route by any passenger of room/cabin occupancy is reduced (from double to single, from triple to double) the price difference of this if applicable will reverberate on the price to return to the customer that has cancelled.

The price quoted for the privatized trips of the catalogue and Trip Styles will be obtained once the total final number of passengers of the group is known, providing the price per person as a result of the sum of the corresponding proportional part of the common expenses of the group, the season and the type of accommodation, as well as the flights or high-speed train included on this trip. In the cases of renouncement or cancellation en route by any passenger, there will be no refund of the proportional part invoiced of the group's common expenses. The customer will have the right to a refund of the proportional part of the amount paid/time not enjoyed. The expenses caused by the change of occupation (double room to single/triple to double) will be passed on if applicable to the amount to be returned to the customer. The costs incurred will be billed in all cases.

Alterations

Changes in arrival/departure date, circuit change, etc. are subject to the following penalties:

• Management fees of € 25 (30 USD) per file provided that the alteration occurs less than 30 days before the start date of the tour. In the case of Trip Style tours, management fees will be invoiced regardless of the date of departure, once the reservation has been made.
• Cancellation fees that will include the expenses incurred for services that cannot be canceled regardless of the date of departure and once the reservation has been made (special attention to flight and train tickets, entrances such as the Alhambra, cruises ...) and a penalty consisting of:
• In the case of a customer taking a coach tour, a mini-group in the privatized tours, or in the Trip Styles wants a change in the itinerary of his trip, a penalty will exist equivalent to management costs and the expenses derived for the modifications of services, which will be informed at the time of the request.
• In tours with flights, admission tickets, ferries, or high-speed trains included, this will be edited based on the data and documents received.
• Our International DMC is not responsible for the expenses generated by a request of cancellation and the emission of flight, admission or train ticket due to the fact that the data given to Our International DMC differs to the corresponding to the passenger at the embarkation moment. Expenses for changes on tours including cruises, flights or in special dates will be billed.
