Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver. The journey to Hanoi city takes about 50 minutes by vehicle. Please note that the official hotel check-in time is from 14:00, and early check-in is subject to hotel availability and regulations. Early check-in can be arranged upon request.

In the afternoon, your sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first National University, built in 1070 by Emperor Ly, dedicated to Confucius, sages, and scholars. Next, visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restore Sword Lake), one of the most beautiful lakes in Hanoi, and enjoy free shopping at Dong Xuan Market and along Hang Gai, Hang Dao, and Hang Ngang streets, where you can find hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, and cooking utensils.

Day 2: Hanoi to Halong Bay Cruise

Pick up at 08:00 from your hotel to travel to Halong Bay. The drive offers scenic views of the peaceful countryside. Arrive at Halong Bay sea port around noon. At 12:00, embark on your cruise, check-in, and enjoy a welcome drink as your cabin is assigned. Relax, take photographs, and enjoy the sightseeing before lunch is served. Admire the thousands of islands and islets with magnificent caves and grottoes, sparkling stalactites, and stalagmites. Listen to the legends of the Dragons and the landscape of the area.

Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise to Hanoi

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the breathtaking beauty of Halong Bay’s seascape in the early morning. Refresh with a Tai-chi martial art lesson on the sundeck. After breakfast, continue sightseeing on the cruise until noon, taking photographs and relaxing on board. Lunch will be served on the cruise or at a restaurant on land in Halong city, depending on the cruise’s program. Disembark at 11:00 AM and transfer back to Hanoi to check in to your hotel.

Day 4: Hanoi to Siem Reap

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy some leisure time until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, meet our guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in (after 14:00 PM).

Day 5: Angkor Wat Exploration

After breakfast at your hotel, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag. This 12th-century masterpiece is considered the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world, and the surrounding moat represents the ocean beyond.

Continue to the South Gate, with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. End the day at Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples, which has been relatively untouched since its discovery and retains much of its mystery. In the late afternoon, enjoy a Remork ride (commonly called Tuktuk) around the city and have a blessing ceremony by a Buddhist monk for prosperity, happiness, and safety.

Note: During the visit to the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple:

• Visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees (no shorts, miniskirts, or short trousers).
• Visitors must queue and wait to climb up the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat.
• Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower.
• The tower is closed on Buddhist Sabbath Days and Buddhist religious days (four days a month).

Day 6: Tonle Sap and Departure to Saigon

After breakfast at your hotel, visit the floating village located about 15 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Spend the rest of the day visiting the “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor,” which provides training to young Cambodians to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, meet our guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 7: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon

Transfer to My Tho and begin the tour on the beautiful countryside road. Start at the Tourist Boat Station (My Tho), cruising on the Tien (Mekong) River and seeing four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, and Phoenix. Enjoy fresh coconut juice and visit the fish floating market and fish-craft village along the Tien River. Stop at Thoi Son Island, walk around the countryside road, see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and listen to traditional music. Take a rowing boat on a small canal with beautiful countryside scenery to visit a honey-bee farm and enjoy honey-tea. Stop at Phoenix Island to visit Coconut Monk Temple and Crocodile-pond. Drive back to Saigon. En route, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Tien Giang, with an area of 2000m2 and many beautiful trees.
